Argentine Tango in Astoria!
Founded in 2015, the Argentine Tango community was born in Astoria, thanks to the gumption and vision of Estelle Olivares & her twin, Celeste - the Astoria Tango Twins! You can call us TT Tango.
Like everyone, we experienced setbacks in 2020, but we are focused forward and rebuilding our community, let’s dance!
Group Class + Practica:
Saturdays, 6-8pm $15/dancer

Pre-Registration NOT required - just show up if you want! We won’t judge you for pre-registering though: it always helps!

Argentine Tango at the AAMC Ballroom:
Saturdays, 6:00-8:00pm: Group Class + Practica, $15/dancer
One-hour group class followed by a one-hour practica.
Class is All-Levels, focused on fundamentals and customized to the abilities of attendees - this is Estelle’s expertise at work & a speciality of what we have worked hard to bring to you!
Whether a beginner, intermediate, or the most humble advanced dancer, you will find a welcome and spacious environment to build upon and practice what you know within our community.
As usual, in all our classes and practicas, partner is not required.

Saturdays, 7:00-8:00pm: Practica-Only, $5/dancer
Can’t make it for class at 6? Be sure to join us for the hour following class to practice what you know, for only $5!
Practicas are traditionally All-Levels! The most humble, advanced dancer can dance with the absolute beginner and both dancers can have the most wonderful connection and dance!
